Created in LA, with roots in Baltimore and New York City, Dt/IG is a modern instrumental ensemble led by multi-instrumentalist and touring musician Drew Taubenfeld and cellist and accomplished film scorer/string arranger Isaiah Gage. Their sound fuses folk-like melodies, chamber music and instrumental americana/rock to create a colorful tableau of sonic experiences. Through their combination of intricate orchestrations, fingerstyle guitar, lush pedal steel, cello melodies, keys, trumpet, winds and drums, they have joyfully alchemized a sound untethered to algorithm or genre.
